Louis Rohner LL.M. attorney at law
Louis Rohner practised in the fields of private clients and commercial law, with a particular focus on corporate law, company law, contract law, inheritance law, banking law and immigration law. He was active both as a legal adviser and as a litigator.
Louis Rohner was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 1977 and practised as an independent attorney since 1982. He studied law at the Universities of Zurich and Montpellier. He graduated from the University of Zurich with a Licentiate in Law (lic. iur.) in 1974 and obtained his Doctor of Law (Dr. iur.) in 1976. In 1978, he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School.
In 1976, Louis Rohner published the first volume of the series "Computer and Law" with Schulthess Verlag in Zurich. The publication was based on his doctoral dissertation entitled "Computer Crime – Criminal Law Issues Relating to Time Theft and Manipulation".
From 1982 to 2023, he managed the law firm ROHNER Attorneys at Law, which has since been dissolved.
Louis Rohner is a member of the Zurich Bar Association and the Harvard Club of Switzerland. He was registered in the Swiss Register of Attorneys and in the Bar Register of the Canton of Zurich.
